Expanding Expertise in the MLI

By Marketing Leadership Institute

September 6, 2022

This summer we excitedly brought two more members on to our team. They serve as Teaching Faculty in the Marketing Department, splitting their time between teaching courses and serving the needs of the MLI.

Giustina Parisi

Giustina Parisi

In fall 2020 Giustina began teaching a Managing by Design class for the Operations department in addition to working full time at Exact Sciences. This summer she made the switch to full time in academia. She offered her Managing by Design course again this fall and will add teaching marketing classes this Spring with her work on Marketing 300 for the Online Undergraduate Degree. Giustina is a double badger. She received her undergraduate degree in Journalism and her MBA specialized in Marketing Research in 2009. After her MBA, Giustina played an important role on the consumer insights teams for P&G, Oscar Mayer (now Kraft Heinz), and American Family Insurance.

Throughout her time in industry, Giustina was available as a close resource for students. Returning to help with mock interviews, lead classes, serve as the A.C. Nielsen Center’s EAB alumni representative, speak at Summits, and so much more. All the while, biding her time for the perfect role to make a switch to full time with the University. Teaching Faculty and Marketing Analytics & Insights Liaison for the MLI is a beyond perfect fit.

Alan Stoffer

Alan Stoffer

After completing his MBA specializing in Brand and Product Management in 2013, Alan joined General Mills as an Associate Marketing Manager. His passion for big data and new-to-the-world problems led him to join the tech industry where he took on roles at Intuit, Waymo, and found himself the Product Marketing Leader for Integrity at Facebook in 2020. When the pandemic forced everyone to work from home, Alan considered another change. Originally from the Milwaukee area, Alan and family had been living in Silicon Valley for five years. They were ready to come back to Wisconsin. Alan and a colleague started WORQFLOW, a digital marketing agency from his family’s new home in Hartland.

In addition to his agency work, Alan has joined the Wisconsin School of Business as a part time Teaching Faculty. He serves as the Tech Product Marketing liaison for the Marketing Leadership Institute. In this role he will leverage his various tech work experience, grow our friends and partners in Silicon Valley, and teach courses including the Applied Learning for Tech Product Marketing and Marketing in the Digital Age.
