Why choose Wisconsin?

There are several factors to consider. Firstly and most importantly, it is the Wisconsin MBA’s curriculum. As the program provides different specializations and offers great flexibility in selecting elective courses, I can dive deeper into the areas I want. Secondly, the school consistently places among top-notch business schools offering generous scholarships and graduate assistantships for MBA students. This financial aid helps reduce the financial burden for international students like me. Last but not least, the scenery around Madison city in the summer and fall is so beautiful and peaceful. Fresh air, green trees, infinity lakes, no traffic jam, safe and sound environment, to name but a few. Though winter will be freezing with ice and snow, I feel so excited to experience it as I come from a tropical country, where there is no chance for me to expose to that cold.

Advice:

Know yourself deeply. MBA is a big decision in your life as it comes with both opportunities and trade-offs. Why do you want an MBA? Answer it for yourself, not for the admission committee. Once you decide to pursue an MBA, it’s time to reach out to alumni and faculty to get a well-rounded picture of which program suits you the best. And don’t forget that back-to-school is also an excellent chance for you to take a step back to reflect, redirect, and make your life more memorable.

Fun fact:

I love driving a car. Car-racing on a professional racecourse is always on my bucket list since I was a kid. Fortunately, I was lucky enough to make my dream come true! While in Toyota, I had a chance to attend four international racecourses to test new cars: twice in Japan, once in Thailand, and once in Malaysia.
