Arun Bhatia Development Organization

Arun Bhatia, is President and Chief Executive Officer of Bhatia Development Organization. Since its inception in 1980, the company has completed or is developing projects in Manhattan in excess of $1 billion dollars consisting of over 2,000 luxury condominiums, co-ops and rental units, and currently holds approximately $300M in Assets Under Management across various asset types in its portfolio.

The early focus of Mr. Bhatia’s career mainly focused on the ground up development of high-rise luxury condominium projects, such as The Dunhill, The Whitney, The Stanford, and the national award-winning project of The Strand. Starting in 2001, the organization diversified its portfolio and expanded its focus to include dormitories, creating over 1,900 leading-edge living spaces in Manhattan with beautiful finishes and exceptional amenities like fully equipped state of the art gyms, lounges, and study areas.

Mr. Bhatia successfully formed strategic and innovative relationships with prestigious universities such as The New School University and Marymount College, which eventually led him to be dubbed the “dormitory king” by Crain’s Magazine. Mr. Bhatia’s fifth dormitory project was completed in August of 2015 at 35 Cooper Square, in Manhattan’s trendy NoHo district.

He has an MS in in Real Estate and Construction Administration from UW-Madison.
