Bennett Foley is currently an Area Operations Manager at Shipt (acquired by Target in 2017). In his current role, he manages Shipt’s Central Midwest operations. He is responsible for his region’s P&L, various KPIs, new retailer launches, and shopper operations.
Bennett has an extensive background in last-mile delivery. Prior to working at Shipt, he worked at Bite Squad, a Minneapolis-based 3rd party delivery company. At Bite Squad, he worked in a variety of areas, such as identifying and launching new metro markets, developing and administering a new sales commission structure and field operations bonus structure, and metro optimization. His diligent contributions at Bite Squad led to them being acquired by Waitr in 2018, marking the most valuable acquisition involving a Twin Cities tech startup that decade. After the acquisition, Bennett managed driver requirement and communications.
Bennett graduated from UW-Madison in 2018 with a degree in Operations Technology Management and Marketing, and a Specialization in Supply Chain Management. He is currently based in Minneapolis, MN and enjoys cycling, hiking, cooking, traveling, and mixed media art creation.
