Brian Figueroa currently holds the position of Director, Logistics at KBX (a Koch Industries company). He is responsible for transportation & logistics within Koch Industries which includes Georgia-Pacific North American Consumer Products, Packaging, and GP Recycling divisions for the South Region of the United States; managing over $500 million in annual freight spend. KBX is also working with Molex, INVISTA, Koch Knight, Glitch, and Guardian Glass to name a few. Brian has worked in transportation, logistics, and supply chain for over 10 years.
Brian began his career with Georgia-Pacific in 2011 through the Supply Chain Internship Program, a six-month co-op in Georgia-Pacific’s transportation department in Green Bay, WI as a transportation planning specialist during his junior year of college. Brian has held several positions in transportation. He started his first full time position with Georgia-Pacific in transportation in June 2013 as a Transportation Analyst. He was promoted to West Region Team Leader – Transportation for Georgia-Pacific in October 2014. He was then promoted to the position of Regional Transportation Manager-Southeast Region at KBX in April 2016 and took over the South region as well as part of his responsibility in December of 2019. Brian was recently promoted into his current role of Director, Logistics in October of 2020.
Brian received a bachelor’s degree in Operations & Technology Management with a specialization in Supply Chain Management from University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has a passion for supply chain and enjoys working through cross functional supply chain initiatives along with returning to his alma mater to give a guest lectures each semester. Brian lives in the Green Bay area with his wife, Ashley, and they enjoy traveling the world whenever possible.
