Carl Laurino

Retired CFO

Mr. Laurino is retired from his role as Chief Financial Officer for Maxim Crane Works, a coast-to-coast crane rental company specializing in crane rental and lifting services. Carl previously served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of The Manitowoc Company, Inc., a multi-industry, capital goods manufacturer with over 100 manufacturing, distribution, and service facilities in 24 countries. The company is recognized globally as one of the premier innovators and providers of crawler cranes, tower cranes, and mobile cranes for the heavy construction industry, which are complemented by a slate of industry-leading product support services. In addition, Manitowoc is one of the world’s leading innovators and manufacturers of commercial foodservice equipment, which includes 24 market-leading brands of hot- and cold-focused equipment. In 2013, Manitowoc’s revenues totaled $4.0 billion, more than half of which were generated outside of the United States.

Laurino joined the company in January 2000 as assistant treasurer. In 2001, he was appointed treasurer and served in that capacity until his promotion to senior vice president and CFO in May 2004. Mr. Laurino, age 53, directs teams in financial reporting, planning and analysis, investor relations, global tax, information services, trade finance, treasury and business development.

Prior to joining Manitowoc, Laurino spent 15 years in the commercial banking industry in a variety of management and executive positions with Firstar Bank Wisconsin (now US Bank), Associated Bank, N.A., and Norwest Bank (now Wells Fargo).

Mr. Laurino is a 1984 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance.

In addition to spending time with his wife and two children, Laurino has enjoyed numerous community activities including Parish Pastoral Council at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, United Way, and participation in the Manitowoc Symphony Orchestra. Laurino’s Board memberships have included: the Manitowoc/Two Rivers Area Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis Club of Greater Manitowoc, the Manitowoc Symphony Orchestra Association, the Wisconsin State Golf Association, and Jagemann Stamping Company.
