Susan M. Kreh

Ms. Kreh joined Johnson Controls Inc. in March of 2007 as Vice President & Corporate Controller and was appointed to her current position as Chief Financial Officer and VP Information Technology for Power Solutions in November of 2009. Her current responsibilities include financial and information technology leadership of the Power Solutions global business, including lead acid battery operations, advanced energy storage application technologies, fuel-efficiency initiatives, and research and development efforts for innovative power storage products including hybrid battery systems.

Prior to joining Johnson Controls, Ms. Kreh spent 22 years with Pittsburgh-based PPG Industries in a variety of roles including finance, information technology, commercial development and general management. She was general manager of PPG’s Optical Materials business for two years prior to being promoted to Corporate Treasurer, a role she had for five years prior to joining Johnson Controls.

Ms. Kreh serves as Chairperson of the Audit Committee for the United Performing Arts Fund (UPAF) and also serves as a member of UPAF’s Allocations Committee. In addition she is a member of UPAF’s Fundraising Cabinet. In addition, Ms. Kreh serves as an advisor to the Nicholas Center for Corporate Finance and Investment Banking at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Graduate School of Business.

Ms. Kreh has a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting and management information systems from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin, and she has a Master of Business Administration in finance from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Ms. Kreh is married to professional jazz saxophonist Glen Quarrie. Ms. Kreh and Mr. Quarrie have six grown children.
