Vincent (Vince) Cozzi, is Chief Investment Officer and Chief Operating Officer of NexCore Group, a Denver-based developer and owner of healthcare and life sciences properties. Prior to NexCore, Vince served as President and Chief Investment Officer of Northwest Healthcare Properties REIT from 2014 to 2017, where he had responsibility for the company’s strategy and investment activities. Northwest owns high quality healthcare real estate in Canada, Western Europe, Brazil, Australia and New Zealand.
Vince also spent nine years at Ventas, where he was Senior Vice President, Acquisitions as well as EVP and CIO of its Lillibridge Healthcare Services subsidiary. He was responsible for the company’s investment activity in medical office and outpatient real estate, which grew under his leadership from nine buildings to more than 325 properties comprising 20 million square feet.
From 1998 to 2005, he was Vice President-Finance and Treasurer of Trizec Properties, Inc., one of the nation’s largest owners of premier office buildings, where he held positions in finance, corporate strategy and asset management. Vince has also held positions at Kemper Corporation and at Falcon Real Estate Ltd.
Vince is active in the Urban Land Institute, the National Investment Center for the Seniors Housing & Care Industry (NIC), and BOMA. He received his B.A. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin and an M.B.A. in Finance and Business Policy from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business.
