Biography
Julia Ariel-Rohr, CPA, holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy degree from DePaul University. Julia started her career at Navistar International, where she had a variety of roles over three years as part of the Finance and Accounting Leadership Development program. After gaining an interest in technical accounting and the not-for-profit industry, Julia went into public accounting at Grant Thornton (Chicago), where she had clients ranging from public manufacturers to not-for-profits to private technology companies. Julia is an AICPA Accounting Doctoral Scholar and is interested in corporate governance and audit research. Julia expects to graduate in May 2023.

This course uses case studies that mimic real-world problems to develop and apply critical thinking skills necessary for audit professionals. Case studies emphasize developing and performing ad hoc analyses in the audit setting, and making systematic, well-justified judgments about complex and uncertain audit issues important in the contemporary audit environment.
