Newby\, II /UW-Madison Wisconsin School of Business)\n\n\n\nWSB Precollege will be hosting an in person\, Her View\, Her Voice: Exploring Business workshop at Union South\, (located at 1308 W Dayton St\, Madison\, WI) on Saturday\, April 11\, 2026 from 9:30 am – 3:30 pm. During this event\, high school students will receive the opportunity to gain insight about the business world from the perspective of and experience of women identifying WSB Alumnae and WSB students. Alumnae will share how they navigate preparing for and exploring their professional career paths after college. Participants will also get the opportunity to meet business students and participate in fun\, interactive community building activities. Chadwick works with Aurorium\, Buckman\, NAI Group\, Plaskolite\, and Technimark. Chadwick joined PPC in 2017 as a vice president. Prior to PPC\, he was an associate at Madison Dearborn Capital Partners and an investment banking analyst at Deutsche Bank. Chadwick received his MBA from Harvard Business School and his undergraduate business degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nDuncan Davis (BBA ’09) is the founder of the newly formed BDGR Capital and was previously the founder and managing partner of Breakout Capital. At Breakout\, Davis deployed over $100 million of capital across more than a dozen portfolio companies spanning health care\, consumer\, home services\, and financial services. Past investments include AIM Clinics (sold to private equity)\, Pattern Group (IPO in Fall 2025)\, Packlane (sold to private equity)\, Beam Benefits\, Splashworks Pool Services\, and others.  \n\n\n\nDavis began his career in leveraged finance at Goldman Sachs in New York City. He went on to join the investment team at Sterling Partners where he focused on healthcare services investing. Davis grew up in Wisconsin and received his undergraduate business degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He now resides in the Chicago suburbs with his wife and three children. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nMichael MacKay (BBA ’11) joined Wynnchurch Capital in 2018. He worked previously as a senior associate at Pritzker Group Private Capital\, a middle-market investment firm based in Chicago\, and as an analyst in Barclays Capital’s New York office\, where he was a member of the industrials group. MacKay has worked on a wide range of M&A transactions\, as well as equity and debt financings across the industrial landscape. He earned an undergraduate degree in finance and accounting from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and an MBA with honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nBen Riback (BBA ’97) is a managing director and leads the food and beverage sector for William Blair. He originally joined William Blair’s investment banking team in 2021. Prior to William Blair\, he worked for Citigroup and BMO Capital Markets. W. Cooper and Ruth F. Cooper Professor of Management Science and Information Systems at the Heinz College Information Systems and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University. He served as President of INFORMS in 2019 and helped lead the creation of its AI strategy. \nHe is an AAAS Fellow (section T)\, an INFORMS Fellow\, and an elected member of the National Academy of Public Administration.  He chaired the AI futures Committee of the National AI Advisory Committee to the President and the White House office of AI Initiatives office and was chair of the DOD’s RAI academic council. Graduates and guests are invited to the celebration event recognizing the accomplishments of the BBA Class of 2026.  \n\n\n\n\nRSVP Today\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA milestone moment\, in the place that made it possible\n\n\n\n\nThe Wisconsin School of Business Undergraduate Program is proud to host this year’s graduation celebration on campus\, offering Business Badgers and their guests a truly authentic and memorable campus experience.  \n\n\n\nSoak in all Madison and campus has to offer over the weekend including UW Commencement on Saturday\, May 9\, 2026 at Camp Randall Stadium from 12 – 1:30 pm. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIntroducing the 2026 BBA Graduation Celebration Student Speaker – Bella Shim\, BBA ’26\n\n\n\n\nThe Wisconsin School of Business is proud to announce Bella Shim as the 2026 BBA Graduation Celebration student speaker. Bella\, a native of Glenview\, Illinois\, and graduate of Glenbrook South High School\, has made a lasting impact at UW–Madison through her leadership\, involvement\, and commitment to building community among her peers. \n\n\n\nThroughout her time at Wisconsin\, Bella held leadership roles across multiple student organizations\, serving on the leadership boards of the Real Estate Club\, Women in Business\, and the UW Club Gymnastics Team. Across each of these communities\, she demonstrated a passion for collaboration\, mentorship\, and empowering fellow students to grow both personally and professionally. \n\n\n\nAfter graduation\, Bella will begin her professional journey as an Acquisitions Analyst at Blue Vista Capital Management in Chicago\, Illinois. She attributes her success to the strong network of support that shaped her undergraduate experience and extends heartfelt thanks to her parents\, Angela and Steve Shim\, for their constant encouragement\, as well as the Career Engagement Studio faculty for their mentorship and guidance over the past four years. \n\n\n\nIn her commencement address\, Bella will celebrate the shared experiences that have defined the graduating class and reflect on the ways the Wisconsin community has supported\, challenged\, and inspired its students. Her message encourages graduates to carry forward the spirit of connection and leadership as they step into the next chapter of their lives and continue lifting others along the way. \n\n\n\n\n\n“We were supported\, challenged\, and lifted by this community\, and now it’s our turn to lift the next generation of Business Badgers.” \n\n\n\n\n    \n            \n\n        \n            Stay InformedPlease check back closer to the event date for the most up to date information. \nAll graduation updates will be provided to May 2026 graduates via email announcements. If you are a family member\, guest or December 2025 graduate\, and would also like to receive updates please complete the Graduation Information Request Form. \n\n            \n                            \n                    \n                        \n                            Information for Graduates                            Apply to Graduate \nStudents must apply for graduation to attend the ceremony and receive their diploma. There is no additional sign up for the ceremony. Apply to graduate by Friday\, March 20. \nYou are required to complete the application\, even if you have missed the deadline for your name to be listed in the program. If you applied by the deadline\, your name will be in the printed program. \nPost-Graduation Survey \nPlease fill out this Post-Graduation Survey sharing with us your plans after graduation. The data helps inform students of what makes an offer competitive\, so by completing this survey\, you will help us help future Badgers. \nDress Code & Conduct \nGraduates should wear academic regalia (cap and gown) over business professional attire for the Spring BBA Graduation Celebration and the official campus Commencement at Camp Randall. View the campus commencement site for information on your regalia. \nGraduates are expected to demonstrate appropriate conduct during the entirety of the event such as remaining seated or in designated areas unless directed and not interrupting speakers or the proceedings. \nProhibited items include signs\, flags\, sticks\, noisemakers or bullhorns. \nDiploma Covers \nGraduates will receive a red diploma folder at the BBA Graduation Celebration. The actual diploma will be mailed six to eight weeks after grades are entered to the permanent home address listed in the MyUW Student Center. \nName Reading \nUpon arrival\, graduates will need to check-in and pickup their pre-printed cards. Hold onto the cards until you cross the stage where it will be read and displayed. \nArrival & Seating \nMore information to come. \n                            \n                         \n                                            \n                \n                                \n                    \n                        \n                            Guest Information                            Food and Beverage \nMore information to come. \nArrival and Seating \nDoors open at 4:00 pm\, and we ask that all guests are seated by 5:30 pm to begin the program. No tickets are required to attend. Guest seating is general admission\, first-come\, first-served. There is no limit to the number of guests that graduates may bring. Please review the accessibility arrival and seating instructions if you or your guests have accessibility requests. \nOnly graduates and staff escorts are allowed on the floor during the entirety of the event. \nLive Stream \nThe program will be live streamed starting at 5:30 pm CST.
