DESCRIPTION:WSB Precollege will be hosting an in person\, Her View\, Her Voice: Exploring Business workshop in person\, on UW-Madison Campus. During this event\, high school students will receive the opportunity to gain insight about the business world from the perspective of and experience of women identifying WSB Alumnae\, Faculty\, and WSB students. Alumnae will share how they navigate preparing for and exploring their professional career paths after college. Participants will also get the opportunity to meet business students and participate in fun\, interactive community building activities. Lunch will be provided. \n\n\n\n*Applicant Requirements: *Applicants must meet ALL of the requirements below in order to be considered for this activity.* \n\n\n\nApplicants must… (1) Commit to participating in the entire program activity(2) Be a high school student (currently in grades 9th\, 10th\, 11th\, or 12th grade)(3) Identify as ONE of the following:– Low Income (defined as a student who qualifies for free/reduced lunch)– First Generation (First person in intermediate family to attend college) \n\n\n\n*If students are not low income or first generation\, students are still encouraged to apply. DESCRIPTION:Save the Date!\n\n\n\nJoin us for the Wisconsin School of Business Spring Undergraduate Graduation Celebration on Thursday\, May 6\, 2027 at the Kohl Center. Doors open at 4:00 pm\, the program will run from 5:30 – 7:30 pm. Graduates adn guests are invited to the celebration event recognizing the accomplishments of the BBA Class of 2027.  \n\n\n\nRSVP will open in March 2027.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA milestone moment\, in the place that made it possible.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Wisconsin School of Business Undergraduate Program is proud to host this year’s graduation celebration on campus\, offering Business Badgers and their guests a truly authentic and memorable campus experience.  \n\n\n\nSoak in all Madison and campus has to offer over the weekend including UW Commencement on Saturday\, May 8\, 2027 at Camp Randall Stadium from 12 – 1:30 pm. \n\n\n\n\n    \n            \n\n        \n            Stay InformedPlease check back closer to the event date for the most up to date information. \nAll graduation updates will be provided to May 2027 graduates via email announcements. If you are a family member\, guest or December 2026 graduate\, and would also like to receive updates please complete the Graduation Information Request Form. \n\n            \n                            \n                    \n                        \n                            Information for Graduates                            Carry-in Policy \nGraduates and guests should limit the number of items they bring. Each attendee is allowed one small clutch purse (6.5” x 4.5”) and one large clear bag\, either a one-gallon clear gallon-sized storage bag or a 12”x6”x12” clear tote bag. Signage outside the Kohl Center will instruct graduates and guests on the building carry-in policy. \nAll items and guests are subject to search. Storage is not available for checking prohibited items. Items left at gates will be disposed of. \nChanges in national\, regional\, or local security levels may affect security procedures at Commencement\, and we appreciate your understanding with any last-minute changes that may occur. \nApply to Graduate \nStudents must apply for graduation to attend the ceremony and receive their diploma. You are required to complete the application\, even if you have missed the deadline for your name to be listed in the program. \nPost-Graduation Survey \nPlease fill out this Post-Graduation Survey sharing with us your plans after graduation. The data helps inform students of what makes an offer competitive\, so by completing this survey\, you will help us help future Badgers. \nDress Code & Conduct \nGraduates should wear academic regalia (cap and gown) over business professional attire for the Spring BBA Graduation Celebration and the official campus Commencement at Camp Randall. View the campus commencement site for information on your regalia. \nGraduates are expected to demonstrate appropriate conduct during the entirety of the event such as remaining seated or in designated areas unless directed and not interrupting speakers or the proceedings. \nProhibited items include signs\, flags\, sticks\, noisemakers or bullhorns. \nDiploma Covers \nGraduates will receive a red diploma folder at the BBA Graduation Celebration. The actual diploma will be mailed six to eight weeks after grades are entered to the permanent home address listed in the MyUW Student Center. \nName Reading \nUpon arrival\, graduates will need to check-in and pickup their pre-printed cards. No tickets are required to attend. Guest seating is general admission\, first-come\, first-served. Guest services personnel will have wheelchairs available for transportation from the Dayton Street drop-off location to the Kohl Center seating area. Wheelchairs are for transportation purposes only and cannot be used for patron seating during the ceremony. Anyone in need of wheelchair services can call Guest Services at 608-263-5645 on the day of the ceremony. Guest Services staff will be available at gates and accessible drop-off points to assist guests within the stadium.  \nSeating accommodations \nIf guests are in need of accessible seating or assistance\, we recommend arriving early as the seating will be determined on a first-come\, first-served basis. Accessible seating is limited to only those guests who require it. The seats will be for the person with accessible needs and for one companion. No pre-ticketing will occur for accessible seating. \nWheelchair seating locations \nWheelchair escorts to and from seats and gates are available through Guest Services\, located in the Kohl Concourse near Section 119. Wheelchair and wheelchair companion locations are located throughout the main level concourse (Kohl Concourse or 100 level)\, and the upper level (Kellner Concourse or 200 level). Due to the high demand during this event\, wheelchairs will be provided only for transport purposes. \nEmergency alerts \nTwo message boards\, located at opposite sides of the bowl\, will relay general information and messages that are broadcast over the Public Address system. In case of an emergency\, strobe lights will help alert the deaf and those who are hard of hearing. WSB Precollege Summer programs are NOT RESIDENTIAL\, participants are expected to organize their own transportation to and from campus each day.  Precollege participants will have access to professional instructors\, trained college mentors\, lunch at UW dinning hall\, snacks\, bus passes upon request\, and activities and experiences that will allow them to navigate business career pathways and build lasting relationships with each other. \n\n\n\nBusiness Basics Activities include: \n\n\n\n\nEntrepreneurship energizer activities\n\n\n\nOverview of Marketing Basics\n\n\n\nMarketing Pitch competition\n\n\n\nCampus exploration activities including on campus field trip\n\n\n\n\nPrecollege Summer Camp requirements: \n\n\n\n(1) Commit to participating in the entire program week. \n\n\n\n(2) Must be a rising 9th or 10th grade student.  \n\n\n\n*This means that students must be a current 8th or 9th grade student at the time of application. \n\n\n\n(3) Identify as one of the following: \n\n\n\n\na first-generation college student (the first person in the family to attend college) and/or\n\n\n\na low-income student (defined as someone who receives free or reduced lunch).\n\n\n\n\n*If you do not meet those preferences\, we still encourage you to apply. Business majors will be shared when the application is available on December 1st. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nWSB Junior Business Badgers Summer Camp requirements: \n\n\n\n(1) Commit to participating in the entire program week. \n\n\n\n(2) Must be a rising 11th or 12th grade student.  \n\n\n\n*Students must be a current 10th or 11th grade student at the time of application.  \n\n\n\n(3) Identify as one of the following: \n\n\n\n\na first-generation college student (the first person in the family to attend college) and/or\n\n\n\na low-income student (defined as someone who receives free or reduced lunch).\n\n\n\n\nWSB Precollege will prioritize enrolling students who identify as low income or first generation. If you do not meet any of these participant requirements above\, you are still encouraged to apply \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nEnrollment Fee: Upon receiving acceptance to Precollege Summer Camp\, parents/guardians must provide additional student information\, sign activity waivers and provide payment for the enrollment fee. A one time\, nonrefundable\, enrollment fee payment of $25 must be paid in full by May 15th. Financial assistance may be available for families who are unable to pay this fee. Contact us at wsbprecollege@wsb.wisc.edu to inquire about financial assistance. Please adhere to the following application timeline. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nApplication Timeline: \n\n\n\n\nDecember 1st – April 30th: Submit Summer Camp Application materials. Materials include online application and short question response. Acceptance to summer camp will be offered on a rolling basis.\n\n\n\nMay 15th: Deadline to complete waivers and pay enrollment fee.\n\n\n\n\nApplication deadline is April 30th\, but WSB Precollege may stop accepting applications before April 30th\, if enrollment capacity has been reached. \n\n\n\n***Summer Camp Application will be available on December 1st!
