UW-Madison is pushing the boundaries of an actuarial education and the students’ resulting profession.
Actuarial faculty from the Risk and Insurance Department collaborated to write an article that appeared in the February/March issue of The Actuary Magazine.
The authors use their actuarial science program as a case study, considering “different aspects of educating the future actuary, implications for the profession, and how colleges and universities can best help students prepare for a rapidly changing job market.”
