Wisconsin Business Alumni Board 2026-2027

The Wisconsin Business Alumni (WBA) Board welcomes six new members for the 2026-27 academic year. New leadership is also on tap for the board, with Michelle Bougie (MBA ’20) beginning a term as board chair and Kevin Gannon (BBA ’01) stepping into the vice chair role.

The mission of the WBA Board is to connect Wisconsin School of Business alumni to the school and to each other. As some of WSB’s most dedicated supporters, board members expand the reach of the school by advancing key priorities for alumni engagement, including activating regional alumni networks, opening doors to industry, and engaging young alumni.

“I’m excited about the opportunity we have over the next year to continue strengthening connections across the WSB alumni community,” says Bougie, who previously served as the board’s vice chair. “One of our priorities is bringing greater awareness to the many ways Business Badgers can learn from one another, grow their networks, and build meaningful relationships—whether that’s within their own city, at work through Corporate Circles, or by participating in our annual Mentorship Circles, sharing industry experience and outside perspectives with current students.”

In addition to these initiatives, the WBA Board will focus in the coming year on expanding WSB’s successful BOLD Circles program for young alumni. In its pilot year, BOLD Circles attracted 60 members across Madison and Chicago, and this fall, the program is expected to grow further as it expands to New York City.

The WBA Board is proud to have representation from more than 30 alumni members across a variety of professional backgrounds and geographic regions, with new members like Cherryl D’Souza (MBA ’01) joining the mix annually.

“Serving on the WBA Board is my chance to give back to an institution that shaped my career—and now, watching my son start his own journey at WSB, that connection feels more meaningful than ever,” says D’Souza. “This board plays a vital role in keeping alumni engaged and connected to the school’s mission. I’m looking forward to helping tell WSB’s story in new and creative ways and strengthening the ties between alumni, current students, and the broader community in the years ahead.”

The six new members of the WBA Board include:

  • Cherryl D’Souza (MBA ’01), general manager and GVP, assessments, Wiley
  • Edgar Flores (MBA ’23), global business process leader, Rockwell Automation
  • David Hanley (MBA ’15), managing director, FTI Consulting
