AI-Human Model Helps Streamline the Hiring Process
A study by WSB’s Ishita Chakraborty suggests AI-human collaboration during the recruitment process may save managerial time and still be cost-effective. AI can weed out the bottom candidates from the pool, leaving managers to focus on the top tier. The study is the first known work of its kind to use video data to better understand sales recruitment.
Ishita Chakraborty is the Thomas and Charlene Landsberg Smith Faculty Fellow and an assistant professor in the Department of Marketing at the Wisconsin School of Business.
Using Machine Learning in Online Content Moderation
A study by WSB’s Qinglai He examines what happens when “bot moderators” are used alongside their human counterparts. He analyzed data from Reddit that utilized bots and human volunteer moderators. She found that implementing bots reduced the volunteer workload and retention increased.
Qinglai He is an assistant professor in the Department of Operations and Information Management at the Wisconsin School of Business.
