BOLD Circles are open to Wisconsin School of Business alumni who have earned an undergraduate degree in the last 10 years.
BOLD Circles offer numerous benefits! By joining a Circle, you will:

BOLD Circles are meant to be fun and informal! While membership does not require a heavy time commitment, participants should plan to be actively engaged in all events and initiatives. Circle members should plan to participate in monthly meetings between September and May. Young alumni can enjoy being members of their Circle year after year with no formal renewal.
BOLD Circle members can help design their experience! Expect to participate in a balanced mix of both personal and professional interactions. As a member, you might:
- Participate in discussions on trending business topics
- Engage in professional development activities
- Attend a networking event
- Watch a Badger game together
- Volunteer in your community
Consider becoming a BOLD Circle leader! We are looking for individuals who are passionate about the WSB alumni network and want to take an active role in organizing events and facilitating connections for young alumni. Leaders collaborate with WSB staff and the Wisconsin Business Alumni (WBA) Board to increase participation at regional events and volunteer initiatives.
We are looking for BOLD Circle leaders with the following characteristics:
- A passion for WSB/UW–Madison
- Strong personal and professional network
- Volunteer and leadership experience
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
- WSB/UW–Madison student organization involvement
- Inclusive of all people, backgrounds, and viewpoints
Leaders are expected to serve a one-year term, with an option for a second term. Leaders whose terms have expired are eligible to continue with their Circle as a participating member.
