Originally from the small town of Radnor in central Ohio, Kasey earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Analytics from Otterbein University. During her undergraduate years, she was a dedicated member of the softball team, creating some of her most cherished memories and honing her skills in teamwork, communication, and perseverance. She even hit multiple grand slams during her freshman season—a testament to her drive and focus. Ultimately, she chose to step away from athletics to pursue internships and accelerate her academic journey, graduating early.
Professionally, her career has centered on finance and consulting, with a strong foundation in data analytics, problem solving, and executive communication. The majority of her experience has been at JPMorgan Chase, where she earned certifications in Tableau and Alteryx—tools that deepened her passion for data visualization and storytelling. Using these certifications, her time at JPMorgan Chase was spent serving in multiple roles across the firm: an analytics role within Corporate Operations, a controller role in Home Lending, and a financial analysis role for the Consumer Bank, each reinforcing her ability to translate complex data into strategic insights.
MBA Experience & Career Goals

Her decision to pursue an MBA was driven by a desire to deepen her expertise in finance—an area not covered in her undergraduate studies—and to strengthen her leadership and communication skills in preparation for future people management roles. When evaluating MBA programs, she focused on three key criteria: location, opportunity, and community. She sought a campus that felt like home, with access to outdoor spaces that matched her active lifestyle. She also wanted to be part of a program where she could be a central figure in her academic journey, not just one among many. Wisconsin’s cohort model and intimate class size stood out immediately, but it was the people—faculty, staff, and students—who ultimately sealed her decision. From the application process through the start of the semester, she has felt genuinely supported and valued.
Looking ahead, she aims to graduate with her MBA and secure a finance role in either a consulting or corporate setting, with the opportunity to lead a team within a mission-driven organization. Her long-term aspiration is to become a college professor, sharing her knowledge and experience with future generations.
Hobbies

Outside of the classroom, Kasey is an avid adventurer and animal lover. She and her goldendoodle, Misha, have traveled to eight states together, often hiking and exploring national parks. She recently completed her first half marathon and is already planning the next. Each year, she and her best friend embark on a hiking trip to a new destination—this year’s highlights included Zion and Bryce Canyon. When indoors, she enjoys curling up with Misha to watch documentaries or dive into a good book.
Her commitment to education extends beyond her own journey. While living in Atlanta, she volunteered with Hands on Atlanta’s Discovery Program, supporting classrooms on weekends. She has also returned to her high school and alma mater to speak with students about career development, participating in career fairs, classroom sessions, and serving as the keynote speaker for Otterbein University’s 100th anniversary celebration of the Business, Accounting, and Economics department.
