Anzen

Max Bruner is the founder and CEO of Anzen, an AI-powered insurance platform modernizing the way Specialty and P&C insurance is distributed. His career began in U.S. foreign policy and the Department of Energy during the Obama Administration before turning to entrepreneurship, where he built companies in robotics, agriculture, and insurance technology.

Through these ventures, Max has developed a keen understanding of how legacy systems often stand in the way of innovation. With Anzen, he is focused on applying AI and data-driven workflows to streamline insurance distribution, reduce friction for brokers, and unlock new value across the industry.

Max is passionate about the role of risk, entrepreneurship, and technology in shaping economic opportunity. He has invested in and mentored early-stage startups and is an active voice in conversations about the future of insurance, AI, venture investing, and business building. Outside of work, he is an avid downhill skier, cyclist, and outdoors enthusiast.

He joins the Advisory Board of the AI Hub for Business at the Wisconsin School of Business to help bridge practical applications of AI with the next generation of business leaders.
