Denise Blomquist is Vice President, Global Controller and Chief Accounting Officer at Medtronic PLC. In this role, Denise leads global Accounting and Financial Delivery Services. She is responsible for SEC filings including the 10Q and 8K, as well as Irish reporting as well as financial shared services. Denise reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is the Liaison to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors.
Denise joined Medtronic in 2004 and has held numerous positions of increasing responsibility and scope in both business and corporate functions, including most recently Vice President, Global Assistant Controller. Prior to Medtronic, Denise worked at Carlson Companies, where she held positions within internal audit, business finance, and in operations managing distribution centers. She began her career as an auditor at Coopers & Lybrand, LLC.
Denise received a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
