Precollege Junior Business Badgers (Session 1)

WSB Precollege Summer camps are offered Monday through Thursday, all day, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at Grainger Hall, located at 975 University Ave., Madison, WI. WSB Precollege Summer programs are NOT RESIDENTIAL, participants are expected to organize their own transportation to and from campus each day.  Precollege participants will have access to professional instructors, trained college mentors, free meals and snacks, bus passes upon request (please indicate need in application), and activities and experiences that will allow them to navigate business career pathways and build lasting relationships with each other.

WSB Junior Business Badgers Summer Camp requirements:

(1) Commit to participating in the entire program week.

(2) Must be a rising 11th or 12th grade student.

*Students must be a current 10th or 11th grade student at the time of application.

(3) Identify as one of the following:

• a first-generation college student (the first person in the family to attend college) and/or
• a low-income student (defined as someone who receives free or reduced lunch).

WSB Precollege will prioritize enrolling students who identify as low income or first generation. If you do not meet any of these participant requirements above, you are still encouraged to apply

Enrollment Fee: Upon receiving acceptance to Precollege Summer Camp, parents/guardians must provide additional student information, sign activity waivers and provide payment for the enrollment fee. A one time, nonrefundable, enrollment fee payment of $25 must be paid in full by May 15th. Application Timeline:

• December 1st – April 30th: Submit Summer Camp Application materials. Materials include online application and short question response. Acceptance to summer camp will be offered on a rolling basis.
• May 15th: Deadline to complete waivers and pay enrollment fee.

Application deadline is April 30th, but WSB Precollege may stop accepting applications before April 30th, if enrollment capacity has been reached.
