We are delighted to welcome Missy Clemens to the Graaskamp Center as our new Associate Director of Operations. In this role, she joins the Graaskamp at the Wisconsin School of Business, bringing extensive operations experience and expertise that will be a great asset to our team and community. Clemens succeeds Genie Trewyn, who retired on June 1 after many years of dedicated service to the Graaskamp Center and the Wisconsin Real Estate Program.

Clemens brings extensive experience with expertise in operations, financial management, project management and staff development. Prior to joining the Graaskamp Center, she held leadership roles in higher education as well as the non-profit sector, where she managed operations, developed strategic partnerships, oversaw major initiatives and led programs focused on education and community engagement. She is skilled at improving processes and building collaborative teams.

In her new role, Clemens will oversee the Center’s day-to-day operations, including budgeting and financial processes, events and conferences, student initiatives, resource coordination and support for the Graaskamp Center Advisory Board. She will work closely with faculty, staff, students, alumni, and industry partners to support the Center’s educational and industry outreach mission.

“Missy brings an outstanding combination of operational expertise and a genuine commitment to helping people and organizations succeed,” said Jacques Gordon, Director of the Graaskamp Center for Real Estate. “Her collaborative approach and understanding of UW–Madison will be tremendous assets as we continue to strengthen the Center’s programs, industry relationships and support for our students.”
