Grant Hoffman is the Executive Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer at Ciena, where he oversees global supply chain and operations. He brings more than 25 years of leadership experience spanning general manager, service delivery, portfolio, customer experience (CX), sustainability, and supply chain leadership roles at Ciena, HP Inc., Google, Motorola, Lenovo, Continental AG, and Poly.
Before joining Ciena, Grant served as Senior Vice President and Head of Service Delivery and Operations at HP Inc. Prior to that role, he was Chief Supply Chain Officer at Poly, which HP Inc. acquired for $3.3 billion. Over the course of his career, Grant has navigated ten acquisitions, mergers, or divestitures, experience that has sharpened his ability to lead organizations through periods of significant change. He has held roles at global companies headquartered across the US, Asia, and Europe, and has managed manufacturing operations worldwide.
Grant is an active contributor to the fields of product development, portfolio management, operations, and supply chain management. He serves on the Board of Advisors for the Institute of Business Forecasting (IBF), the University of Wisconsin’s Grainger Center for Supply Chain Management, and Northern Illinois University’s Operations Management department.
Grant holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and an MBA, both from Northern Illinois University. He lives in the Chicagoland area with his wife and their four children.
