With more than 25 years of professional experience, Audrey Lindquist has a diverse background in risk management. She is a Senior Manager in Risk Advisory practice at Baker Tilly and specializes in driving value for Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) programs for clients in various industries. She works with Fortune 500 clients, middle-market public firms, and non-profit clients to mature and improve their risk management capabilities. Before Baker Tilly, Audrey was a co-founder of a boutique risk consulting firm, Risk Research & Solutions. She also has been a Senior Manager in Risk Consulting with Ernst & Young, LLP (EY), and was a Delivery Head of Professional Services for MetricStream, Inc. where she was responsible for a portfolio of client projects overseeing implementations of MetricStream’s GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) software.
Earlier in her career, Audrey worked for Marsh & McLennan Companies as a Senior ERM Advisor, serving as an internal subject matter expert on ERM to the Chief Risk Officer and the four operating companies. Audrey’s other experience included leading consulting engagements and assisting clients with all aspects of designing and implementing ERM programs with Marsh Risk Consulting and Aon. Audrey’s background also includes positions at Zurich North America and Lincoln Financial Advisors, concentrating on life insurance. She began her career as a forecasting meteorologist for a weather services company based in Boston.
Audrey is passionate about encouraging and educating women in business and is active in her company’s women’s networks and mentoring programs. She also developed and delivered ERM-related educational sessions at numerous conferences, webinars, and other risk-based events, as well as created thought-leading presentations and white papers. Audrey is an alumna of the University of Wisconsin–Madison with an MBA in Risk Management and Insurance and a BS in Meteorology. She is also a RIMS Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP) and holds an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation.
In her personal life, Audrey lives in the Madison area and is a wife, a mom to a teenage son, and a step-mom to four young men in their teens and early 20s. She loves to spend time with her family and friends enjoying the water, swimming, boating or relaxing by a pool. She also enjoys running and hiking, trying to keep up with the energetic family of boys.
