Summer Term Scholarships Now Open!

Important Summer Term 2022 Dates:
Enrollment for continuing students begins the week of April 4, 2022

Undergraduate Scholarship for Summer Study

  • Must be in good academic standing and have a cumulative GPA that reflects academic success
  • Enroll in at least one UW-Madison summer course by April 10, 2022

Important Dates:

  • Application period opens on February 11, 2022
  • Submit application by 11:59pm on April 10, 2022
  • Students who apply by March 20, 2022 may be eligible for early notification of decision prior to summer enrollment

Summer Finish

Available to students who can finish their UW-Madison degrees by enrolling in summer courses.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be eligible to graduate with planned summer coursework

Important Dates:

  • Application period opens on February 11, 2022
  • Submit application by 11:59pm on April 10, 2022

Transfer Scholars Summer Award

Award is automatically applied to the tuition bills of students who transferred to UW-Madison in spring 2022 and enroll in courses in summer courses by June 13, 2022.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Students must maintain satisfactory academic progress (SAP)

Housing Boost

Summer Housing Boost can help undergraduate students cover the cost of living in residence halls over the summer.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Enrolled at least half-time for the session in which students receive Summer Housing Boost
  • Be eligible to reside in University Housing residence halls

Important Dates:

  • Application period opens on February 11, 2022
  • Students who intend to move into housing in May must submit application by 11:59pm on April 10, 2022 and enroll in summer courses by April 14, 2022
  • Students who intend to move into housing in June or July must submit application by 11:59pm on May 1, 2022 and enroll in summer courses by May 5, 2022
