Why choose Wisconsin?
I chose Wisconsin because of its national reputation and standing within the real estate industry. The alumni network is incredibly active and welcoming to students searching for opportunities. Madison is also a great place to learn, with a strong real estate community and access to a variety of development opportunities throughout the Midwest. I also enjoy the city itself. It has a great mix of a welcoming community, outdoor activities, and a vibrant downtown.
Advice:
Get to know your classmates and professors and take advantage of the opportunity to learn from them. One of the best parts of the program is being surrounded by people with different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives who share a common interest in real estate. Be open to new ideas, get involved, and make the most of the community you’re part of. The relationships you build along the way can be just as valuable as what you learn in the classroom.
Fun fact:
While I was solo backpacking through Europe over a few months, I spent some time living and working on an olive farm in Tuscany during the harvest season.
