Adam Trigg is currently Head of Chemical Investment Banking at Royal Bank of Canada Capital Markets. He was previously an Executive Director in the Natural Resources Group at UBS Investment Bank based in New York, and focused on providing financial advisory services to clients in the chemicals sector globally. He has also previously served as COO of the Global Industrials Group at UBS. Adam’s focus within the chemicals sector includes the petrochemical, commodity, and intermediates industries; agri-distribution, biotechnology and crop protection sector; specialty chemicals, coatings, and catalysts; as well as the emerging bio-fuels / bio-chemical sectors, among others. His work in the chemicals industry includes mergers and acquisition advisory and strategic advisory services for clients globally, as well as financing solutions through underwriting equity, debt, and structured financing products. Adam’s work in the chemicals industry has also involved bankruptcy financings, representation of special committees in bankruptcy processes, as well as serving as an expert witness in litigation and arbitration proceedings.
Adam holds a B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earned a Juris Doctor graduating cum laude from the University of Wisconsin School of Law, and earned an MBA from the Nicholas Center for Corporate Finance and Investment Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s School of Business. He is a member of the New York and Wisconsin state bars.
