Andy Nottestad has more than 20 years of experience as a risk management and insurance professional. He is currently Managing Director-Risk Management at United Airlines, where he leads Enterprise Risk Management and Corporate Insurance. Previously, Nottestad held both corporate and operational risk and insurance roles at American Express, PepsiCo, and General Growth Properties. He started his professional career as a commercial insurance underwriter at Wausau Insurance Companies.
Nottestad earned his BBA with majors in finance and risk management and insurance from UW–Madison, and his MBA from University of Minnesota–Carlson School of Management. He also has achieved chartered property and casualty underwriter and associate in risk management designations.
