Ann M. Schwister Associates, LLC, Former Vice President and North America CFO - Procter & Gamble

Ann M. Schwister is a Senior Executive in Global Consumer Products with over 29 years of operational experience at Procter and Gamble.  She has worked with local teams in over 60 countries and lived in China and Puerto Rico in addition to the United States.  In her last role, as Vice President and CFO for the North America Region (P&G’s largest region), Ann has been responsible for creating strategies to win in the rapidly changing North America digital and traditional retail environment.   She has worked in a wide variety of businesses including Oral Care, Skin Care, Personal Cleansing and Fabric Care and has numerous skills and experiences including: strategy development and execution, corporate governance, digital/traditional retail strategies, risk management, business process optimization, supply chain redesign, operations, acquisitions and divestitures, post-merger integration and organization/talent development including diversity and inclusion.

Ann has held many roles throughout P&G including CFO and Vice President for the Global Oral Care business and CFO and Vice President for the Greater China Region.  Ann also served on the CFO committee of the Grocery Manufacturers Association. She currently serves on the Board of the Greater Cincinnati Foundation, chairing the Finance and Audit Committee.

Ann has always believed in the importance of talent development especially women and ethnic minorities.  She has sponsored the Hispanic Finance Network at Procter and Gamble developing a strong pipeline of young Hispanic talent.  A graduate of the Wisconsin School of Business with a BBA in Finance and Specialization in International Business in 1989, she has been Procter and Gamble’s liaison to the University of Wisconsin.  She serves on the Business School Dean’s Advisory and Diversity Advisory Boards plus is a strong advocate for the Nicholas Center for Corporate Finance and Investment Banking.

She met her spouse, Juan Carlos Santamarina, while a student at Wisconsin and they have one son.
