Chad Neumann is a Senior Portfolio Manager in the Public Equities division for the State of Wisconsin Investment Board (SWIB). Mr. Neumann is responsible for managing SWIB’s inaugural Global Real Estate portfolio. Before founding the Global Real Estate portfolio, Mr. Neumann spent the last 20 years managing portfolios in the Small Cap equities space. He founded SWIB’s current Small Cap portfolio while also launching a Small Cap Activist portfolio. Mr. Neumann is a former member of the SWIB’s investment committee, which carries out responsibilities in the overall management of SWIB’s portfolios, including investment strategy and oversight.
Mr. Neumann joined SWIB in 1996, after starting his career at BMO Asset Management in Milwaukee. Mr. Neumann received an MBA degree in from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a B.S. in Finance from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
