Mr. Hornung is founder of Pacific Cycle, the largest bicycle distribution company in the world. In 2005, Pacific sourced and delivered over 6 million bicycles under the Schwinn, GT, Mongoose, Pacific and Murray brands through 60 distributors in 35 markets worldwide.
In addition, Mr. Hornung holds a current board position at Methode Electronics (NASDAQ: METH), Chicago, IL. He co-founded Sturbridge Capital.
Mr. Hornung is also an advisor and limited partner in Wind Point Partners, a private equity firm based in Chicago. He is actively involved with Sharing Resources Worldwide, a non-profit medical help provider and is a recipient of the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
