Dan is the founder and managing partner of BSH Companies, coordinating the firm’s strategic direction and overseeing its real estate investments and operations. During his career he has invested in multifamily, single family residential, land, medical office, and self-storage assets.
Dan previously worked for the Trammell Crow Company / CBRE Group where he was Senior Managing Director of CBRE Healthcare Services, providing construction, transaction, and facilities management services to large hospital systems. This team within CBRE grew from inception in 2001 to over 3,000 employees managing more than 130M square feet of real estate and $1.4 billion in annual construction activity, providing real estate strategies to some of America’s leading healthcare systems.
Earlier in his career, Dan worked for a large life insurance company and as an analyst for the U.S. House of Representatives and the State of Wisconsin Legislature. He is a former board member of the Harvard University Real Estate Academic Initiative (HREAI). Dan earned his MBA from Harvard University and his BA in International Relations from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
He resides in Denver, Colorado with his wife and two sons.
