| David A. Nankin is the founder and Managing Member of Legacy Varin Property Management, LLC (“Legacy Varin”). Based in Highland Park, Illinois, Legacy Varin manages and develops multi-family and commercial properties in Wisconsin, Illinois and Indiana. Within multi-family, Legacy Varin manages both market rate and affordable (Section 42 and Section 8) properties. It currently owns and manages 16 communities totaling over 2,500 units and is completing the conversion of a former historic YMCA into 49 apartments in Kenosha. In addition, Legacy Varin owns several public-play golf courses, commercial office/warehouse properties, and a hotel. It is completing the construction of a Marriott Fairfield & Suites in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, which will be the first modularly-built hotel in Wisconsin. David Nankin has over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate. Prior to starting Legacy Varin, David worked in New York, New York for several large commercial real estate companies. He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting and a Master of Science in Real Estate, both from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. |
