Mr. Boucher taught at the UW-Madison School of Business 1980-2024 beginning with tax classes 1980-1987 and then business law 1987-2024 as well as business law in the Executive MBA program for many years.
Mr. Boucher is a co-drafter of the original Wisconsin Limited Liability Law effective January 1,1994 as well as its total update effective January 1, 2023. He co-authored Organizing a Wisconsin Business Corporations since its first publication in the early 1990s as well as LLC’s and LLPs a Wisconsin Handbook since its first publication in the mid 1990s. He has also authored several articles on these topics for the Wisconsin State Bar Association as well as the Wisconsin Institute of CPAS.
Mr. Boucher is the recipient of several awards including being named a distinguished alumnus of St Norbert College (2004), the Triple E Award for the Wisconsin Technology Council (2021) and the Goldberg Distinguished Service Award for Public Service by the Wisconsin Law Foundation. (2020). Additionally, he was chosen for the Weinert Hall of Fame. (2017).
Mr. Boucher has served and serves on several for profit and non-profit boards.
Mr. Boucher has been married for over 49 years to Susan De Groot Boucher. They have three adult children and six grandchildren.
