John Weyers is the Chief Financial Officer of Industrial Physics Group, a KKR Company. Industrial Physics is a leading global testing and measurement platform that protects the integrity of packaging, products, and materials for manufacturers, production lines, and laboratories all over the world. Prior to joining Industrial Physics, John served as CFO of FMI Aerostructures, an Endeavour Capital company.
He began his career at 3M Company and served in roles of increasing responsibility including; Plant Controller of 3M’s largest plant in North America, Finance Integration Leader for 3M’s then-largest $2.5B acquisition of the Capital Safety Group from KKR, global leader of corporate financial planning & analysis, and finally CFO of the global electronics display division based in Tokyo.
John holds a B.B.A in Finance and Accounting and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. During his time at UW, he served as both an undergraduate research assistant and a Nicholas Center student. He also holds an M.B.A. from the University of St. Thomas – Minnesota and is a CPA (inactive).
