Peter S. Kies is a Managing Director of Robert W. Baird & Co. and is a senior member of the Business Services Investment Banking group. He is also a member of the Investment Committee of Baird Venture Partners and a member of the Robert W. Baird & Co. Foundation Board. His extensive transaction experience includes a variety of financing and advisory assignments, including public and private equity transactions, buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions, and strategic financial advisory services. Prior to joining Baird in 1992, Peter was Director of Investments for the Midwest Region for The Equitable. Prior to graduate school, Peter was on the staff of Governor Tommy G. Thompson. Mr. Kies currently serves as a director of Betty Brinn Children’s Museum and is a Trustee of the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design (MIAD). He received a BBA and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin.
