Steve Carter is currently the Vice President of Finance at Kleen Test Products, one of the worlds largest full-service contract manufacturer and developer of consumer and institutional products. Before joining Kleen Test, Steve was the Vice President – Corporate Controller at SC Johnson & Son, Inc. SC Johnson, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of household cleaning products and products for home storage, air care and pest control. The company markets such well-known brands as Ziploc®, Off®, Raid®, Pledge®, Windex®, Scrubbing Bubbles®, Kiwi® and Glade®. Steve served as Corporate Controller since August 2008 and has been a member of the Finance organization at SC Johnson since 1995. Steve has held several other Finance positions of increasing responsibility at the company, including Finance Director – Canada, Finance Director – U.S. Product Supply, and Business Controller – U.S. Home Cleaning. Prior to joining SC Johnson, Steve was the CFO at Saranac Glove Company and served in various auditing roles at Arthur Andersen LLP.
Steve is a Certified Public Accountant. He has a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is also a board member for the Racine Commercial Airport Corporation (Batten Field).
Steve currently lives in New Berlin with his wife, Denise, and has three children – Wes, Paige, and Abby.
