Tanya is a Marketing & Consumer Insights Leader and has experience within both Consumer Packaged Goods and Pharmaceuticals. She spent 20 years at Kraft Foods where she held several positions of increasing responsibility. At Kraft, she was the Consumer Insights & Strategy lead for the Beverages Business Unit, the Kraft Pizza Company and the Walmart Shopper Insights team. In addition, she has experience at Oscar Mayer, Kraft Mac & Cheese and the Kraft Natural Organic Business Units. She was highly valued for identifying new product opportunity areas, consistently delivering the voice of the consumer and developing actionable insights to drive strategy.

In 2016, Tanya joined AbbVie Biopharmaceuticals as the Director of Marketing Insights in Immunology. She led the cross-franchise Marketing Insights for Humira, one of the largest selling medications of all time. She received President Awards for her efforts in the development of Humira Citrate Free Direct-To-Consumer advertising and the integration of Patient Journey insights into long range planning.

Tanya is currently leading the Marketing Insights team for Oncology, which is a strong area of investment for AbbVie. Venclexta is currently on market for two indications and seeking approval for three additional indications in 2021. In addition, Tanya’s team develops physician and patient insights for new assets within Oncology, which includes Navitoclax and a new partnership with Genmab. Tanya leads the Patient Journey strategy and development at AbbVie and has been recognized for the effective roll-out of Patient Journey to newly acquired Allergan team members.

Tanya is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing & Management and a Master of Science degree in Marketing Research from the UW. She remains active within the A.C. Nielsen School of Marketing Research program and was the chair of the program’s External Advisory Board Executive Committee in 2014.
