Terry Nadeau is Vice President, Global Procurement, for Johnson Controls Building Technologies & Solutions – the leader in Controls, HVAC, Fire, Security and Integrated Solutions, with 107 manufacturing plants, more than 100 distribution centers and four million customers worldwide. He is responsible for all aspects of procurement and strategic sourcing globally for the Buildings business.

Terry joined Johnson Controls in 1998 and held positions of increasing responsibility and leadership in the Automotive Experience business unit. Prior to his promotion within Global Procurement, Terry was Group Vice President, Global Purchasing, Automotive Experience, now known as Adient. He also served as Vice President, Global Purchasing, Customer Group Europe and Seating Components and Vice President, Purchasing, North America.

Prior to joining Johnson Controls, Terry worked in various purchasing and leadership positions within Honeywell, including creating and leading the VA/VE department for the Micro Switch division.

Nadeau received the 2012 Rising Star Award from Automotive News Europe for driving change and innovation in the automotive industry during his tenure in Johnson Controls’ Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. Additionally, the EMEA purchasing organization was selected by the Fraunhofer Institute IPT as one of the most successful purchasing organizations of 2012.

Terry earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Materials and Logistics Management from Michigan State University and a Master’s Certificate in Contract Management from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minnesota. Terry is a board member of the CATCH Charity for children. Since moving to the Milwaukee area, Terry has been active with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Milwaukee. He and his wife, Linda, have two sons and live in Hartland, WI.
