Thomas Tefft

Retired: Senior Vice President and President, Neuromodulation

Medtronic, Inc.

Tom Tefft was the Senior Vice President and President of Medtronic’s $2B Neuromodulation business from 2009 to 2016 where he oversaw the research and development, manufacturing and supply chain operations, and sales and marketing of products and therapies used in the treatment of chronic pain, overactive bladder and movement disorders associated with conditions such as Parkinson’s disease and cerebral palsy.  Prior to this role, Tefft held numerous finance leadership roles at Medtronic including Corporate Controller, Vice President Finance for the Cardiac Rhythm Management Business (cardiac pacemakers and defibrillators), and Vice President and Controller for Europe, Africa and Middle East based in Belgium and Switzerland.  Tefft spent 10 years at Price Waterhouse prior to joining Medtronic

Tefft currently serves on the board of directors/trustees of several for-profit and non-profit organizations including American Family Insurance, Histosonics Inc, Nico Corporation, the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF) and the Foundation of the American Nurses Association and several committees within the Wisconsin School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he earned his BA in Accounting.
