Tom McDonnell is the Vice President of Strategy & Finance Operations at Allstate Insurance Co. in Northbrook, IL. Tom has held various leadership positions in Finance since joining the company in 2002. His responsibilities include planning, forecasting, strategy development, external board meetings and quarterly earnings. Prior to Allstate, Tom was a Senior Manager at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young within their Financial Services practice. While at Cap Gemini, Tom was involved in various global initiatives at banks and insurance companies including a large demutualization, several finance transformations and M&A work.
Tom graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He also has an MBA in Finance and Accounting from The University of Chicago. Tom is a Certified Public Accountant.
Tom lives in Evanston, IL with his wife, Kelly, and their four children – Tommy, Ella, Will and Luke. He enjoys hockey, reading and traveling.
