On September 25, the Wisconsin Real Estate Club welcomed more than 500 students and 62 employers to the Gordon Events Center for its semi-annual Real Estate Career Fair—one of the largest in club history. The event was filled with energy and conversation as students and employers exchanged ideas, résumés, and business cards, forging connections that will shape the next generation of real estate leaders.

Fresh off its #1 national ranking for the fourth consecutive year by U.S. News & World Report, Wisconsin’s Real Estate Program continues to attract leading firms from across the country eager to recruit Badger talent. More than half of the employer representatives in attendance were alumni, underscoring the unmatched strength of Wisconsin’s real estate network.
Greg Reed, Associate Director of the Graaskamp Center for Real Estate, noted: “I received consistent positive feedback from employers about the high caliber of students and their excellent preparation. We want to thank everyone who participated and attended. We had strong participation by our passionate alumni representing a variety of top firms.”
That alumni presence is what makes the Career Fair so effective. Wisconsin graduates bring opportunities spanning every corner of the industry—from development and acquisitions to capital markets and lending—and return to campus not only to recruit on behalf of their firms, but also to mentor the next generation of Badgers. The Career Fair stands as a prime example of the Badger real estate network in action, where students of all levels connect with top regional and national employers—often represented by alumni eager to hire and guide future leaders.

The success of the event was made possible through the collaboration of the Real Estate Club, the Graaskamp Center for Real Estate, and the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association (WREAA). Special thanks go to Career Fair Coordinators Abby Sindelar and Erin Zhu for their hard work in organizing the fair, as well as to Real Estate Club Advisor Greg Reed and Laura Berkan, Assistant Director of Career Management, for the career support they provide to students.
The Career Fair continues to serve as a vital bridge between students and the broader Badger real estate community, offering unmatched opportunities for connection, mentorship, and professional development. For those who could not attend, the Spring Real Estate Club Career Fair will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2024.
