As we cap another great semester at UW-Madison, the Weinert Center reflects on all the great entrepreneurial events that were held. Events like PartnerUp! and Think Like an Entrepreneur occurred in-person and brought many great entrepreneurs together on campus to facilitate discussion and creating amazing networking opportunities for students.

The heartbeat of entrepreneurship has never been stronger on campus and this showed with the many motivational speakers that came to campus to speak at our Distinguished Entrepreneurs Lunch (DEL). The experiences of speakers this spring ranged from producing potato chips, creating and managing a bilingual day care, dealing with industrial equipment manufacturers, building upon professional development and getting internships, opening and managing a breakfast eatery, and developing STEAM programing. The variety of topics covered was exceptional and there were many inspirational stories of struggles and successes from this extremely knowledgeable group of entrepreneurs. As always, the students asked many insightful questions that created a great atmosphere of discussion at the lunches. We look forward to DEL to return in the Fall semester.

We thank our long-time sponsor Neider & Boucher, S.C. and co-founder, Badger alum, and Advisory Board member Joe Boucher for graciously providing financial support in offering these lunches that make a tremendous impact in our student lives.
