Beyond Christianity – Observing Other Religions in a Global World

Did you know that there are 4000 recognized religions in the world? Are you surprised to know that these religions constitute only 39% of the US population? This workshop will explore the demographics of religion in the US and the world, philosophies associated with a few of religions other than Christianity and the associated biases and discrimination. Students who complete this workshop will approach working in a diverse environment in a way that acknowledges various religious identities and help to create an inclusive and welcoming environment.
