Explore Career Paths Through the Job Shadow Program
Have you ever wondered what it’s really like to work at a specific company or in a particular role? The Wisconsin School of Business Job Shadow Program gives you the opportunity to step inside leading organizations and experience a true “day in the life” of professionals across a variety of industries.
What is the Job Shadow Program?
During a Job Shadow, students participate in a half-day or full-day visit at a company of interest. Each experience is uniquely designed by the employer host and may include:
- Company presentations
- Office and facility tours
- Networking opportunities with professionals
- Case studies and interactive activities
- One-on-one job shadowing experiences
Most employers host between 5 and 20 students, creating a personalized and engaging learning experience.
As an added benefit, every Wisconsin School of Business BBA student who participates receives a $50 stipend to help offset expenses associated with the job shadow.
Past employer hosts have included:
Deloitte, Northwestern Mutual, Best Buy, Procter & Gamble, Spaulding Ridge, PwC, Grainger, KPMG, Medline, Adams Street Partners, Seagate Technology, General Mills, Marcus Corporation, Erie Insurance, EY, and INSIGHT2PROFIT.
