We are pleased to share an update to WSB’s incomplete policy, which takes effect for Fall 2025 semester grading. This change is in alignment with a campus-wide policy update that creates a consistent incomplete grading timeline across all schools and colleges.
WSB’s Incomplete Policy:
Circumstances that may lead to assigning an incomplete grade to a student will remain the same. The completion deadline to resolve an incomplete course has been updated to:
- If an undergraduate business student earns an incomplete in a fall term, the work for that course must be completed and a grade change submitted by the Friday of the eighth week of the following spring term.
- If an undergraduate business student earns an incomplete in a spring or summer term, the work for that course must be completed and a grade change submitted by the Friday of the eighth week of the following fall term.
If a grade change does not occur by the deadline, the student’s grade will lapse to an F on their transcript.
