Winter 2026
Greetings Alumni, Friends, and Innovators,
Our 2026 year is off to a busy start, and campus is once again full of energy and activity. In this quarter’s newsletter, we highlight several current students and alumni who are doing remarkable work in their entrepreneurial careers. Their stories showcase the creativity, persistence, and impact that make this community so special.
We also share some of the unique ways our students engage directly with entrepreneurs—through our Distinguished Entrepreneurs Lunch series and the Startup Learning Community’s recent field trip to Austin, TX.
Our lead story highlights a powerful collaboration made possible by the UW Environmental Awareness Fund gift. Through this partnership, the WSB Digital Marketing class and the UW Office of Sustainability are working together in ways that enrich our students’ real‑world learning while making a positive difference for the campus environment. And we are especially proud that Weinert Center alum Katie Kruger designed and teaches the course.
Wishing all of you the very best in 2026.
Sincerely,
Dan
