Summer 2026

Greetings Alumni, Students, Friends, and Innovators,

In just a couple of weeks, campus will come alive as we welcome both returning and new students. While things are quieter during the summer months, there is still a great deal happening across our community.

In this quarter’s newsletter, we highlight several of those summer activities, along with other important developments since our last update. This includes some of the ways the Wisconsin School of Business is incorporating AI into the classroom experience.

We also share highlights from the speakers who joined us this spring as part of the Distinguished Entrepreneurs Lunch Series, and we introduce the new faculty director for the Sellery Hall Startup Learning Community. In addition, you will find inspiring stories about the entrepreneurial journeys of our alumni. These stories demonstrate how entrepreneurial skills can create impact, whether you are building your own venture or driving innovation within a larger organization. They also remind us what makes UW-Madison such a special place and how our alumni continue to strengthen it for future generations.

Wishing you a wonderful final few weeks of summer.

Sincerely,

Dan
