The impact Jim Curtis left on the world was immense. He transformed urban environments making them better places to live, gave back to his community with his commitment to education, and played an integral role in building the Wisconsin Real Estate Program into what it is today, the #1 Undergraduate Real Estate Program in the country as ranked by US News & World Report.
Now, thanks to your generosity, Jim’s love of learning and commitment to impactful real estate education will continue through the James J. Curtis Student Experiential Learning Fund. Almost $400,000 has been raised for the fund and your generous donation to it will provide students with hands-on career development experiences, strengthen co-curricular activities, and support the enhancement of professional skills needed to excel in the real estate industry.
Jim’s passion for the Program was an inspiration to his fellow alums, especially Paul Gilbert, President of Tetlow Realty Associates (MS ’74) and Jill Hatton, Committee Chair of Mass PRIM Real Estate & Timber (MS ‘82). Their leadership and guidance were instrumental in establishing and raising support for this fund. We are grateful for their support.
The Wisconsin Real Estate Program is stronger than as ever. With record enrollment of almost 600 undergraduates and 65 graduates, we look forward to sharing how the James J. Curtis Student Experiential Learning Fund is positively impacting students in the Wisconsin Real Estate Program.
