Spring 2025
Greetings Alumni and Friends of the Weinert Center,
As the semester wraps up and spring breathes new life into our campus, we are thrilled to share the latest milestones and stories from our entrepreneurial community.
This season, we celebrated the graduation and achievements of our WAVE and Fellowship students—an inspiring group whose futures are as bright as their ideas. We also welcomed new ventures and innovations through competitions like Transcend and CS Nest, where creativity and determination were on full display.
In this issue, you will meet standout student entrepreneur Lily Kolakowski, learn about the exciting journey of alumni Jason Piller and Jake Wolk as they launched Caddy Splash, and celebrate Ross Freedman’s induction into the Weinert Hall of Fame. We also spotlight the impact of board member Chad Sorenson and share highlights from the StartUp Learning Community.
We invite you to explore these stories and more as we continue to grow, innovate, and support the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders.
Thank you for being part of our journey!
Warm regards,
Martin
