About Yohei

Yohei is a doctoral student in the Marketing Department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research mainly focuses on AI/machine learning, economic modeling, and Bayesian statistics. He uses advanced deep learning techniques like computer vision and natural language processing, along with Bayesian methods, optimizations, and econometrics to inform his work. Substantively, his interest lies in the field of marketing research, digital platform, and advertisement.

Before starting his PhD, Yohei earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Tokyo. Outside academia, he has fifteen years of professional experience as an entrepreneur, marketer, product manager, and software developer.
