Summer 2025
Greetings Alumni, Friends, and Innovators,
As summer winds down and we gear up for an exciting new academic year, we are thrilled to share some inspiring updates from the Weinert Center. This edition is packed with stories that highlight the energy, talent, and entrepreneurial spirit that define our students, alumni, and programs.
We are excited to welcome Maia Donohue as our new Director of Student Engagement – Entrepreneurial Mindset. Maia brings a wealth of experience and passion for empowering student entrepreneurs He will be leading many of the new programs you will be learning about in the year to come and we can’t wait for you to get to know him.
You will also find engaging profiles of an alum who is a corporate entrepreneur, a current student entrepreneur that whose business is blossoming, and an advisory board member who is also a proud program alum. Their journeys are a testament to the power of entrepreneurial thinking in action.
We are also celebrating the success of one of our undergraduate teams at the University Pitch Madness competition and reflecting on another impactful year of the Distinguished Entrepreneurs Lunch, Morgridge Entrepreneurial Bootcamp, and the StartUp Learning Community.
There is a lot to be proud of — and even more to look forward to.
Have a great rest of the summer!
Sincerely,
Dan
